Job Description

This is an opportunity for someone to expand what they got in school and a chance will be given to learn more welding skills such as, T.I.G, M.I.G welding of non-ferrous and ferrous metals. This is not only a helper position. The right person will receive training in all duties and the chance to grow with the company.

The successful candidate for the position will be required to carry out the following duties:

  • Help with any metal fabrication, including pressure test and vacuum test all vessels and components.
  • Help with the fit up and the assembly of vessels.
  • Work with production team members to investigate mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems
  • Source and obtain price quotations from suppliers and prepare purchase requests

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of fabrication techniques (jigs, fixtures, fitting and machining)
  • Be open to learning other tasks as assigned by management.
  • Experienced or willing to learn the proper and safe use of power tools.
  • Be willing to train
  • Familiar with hand tools and basic measuring too
